The seasons change and change, but they’re always the same changes, though each one has its own distinctness. And the same sun and stars shine down on us, with different light each day, and the day sky stays blue whatever happens beneath its mild reign.

The heavens have been declaring the glory of God since God fathered the light and divided it from the darkness — always declaring the same glory, but never running out of glory to declare.

And He from whom every good gift and every perfect gift comes down has no variation or shadow due to change. Those good and perfect gifts come down to us as changes, but He who ensures their goodness is unwavering.

He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; assured of this, we can joyfully greet the changes He brings.
